Harbor Your Arts c.a. danner has a working artist studios at 50 Pearl Street, at the Shirly Blair Flynn Center.
The Shirley Blair Flynn Center for the Creative Arts consists of a campus of town-owned properties at the corner of Pearl and South Streets in Hyannis providing artist living, work and gallery space. The campus includes the historic Guyer Barn Arts Center, artist in residence Sarah Holl’s Art Space and five artist studio workspaces.
Pearl Street is located between bustling Main Street and the harbor front, and is adjacent to the future site of the new regional performing arts center. The strand of gallerys on Pearl also includes Breakdown Lane Gallery and Cafe ReDesign cafe and garden art.
The five artist workspaces are located at 50 Pearl Street. This 2,111 square foot building was constructed in 1830 as a residential home, and has a rich history as a gathering place for local artists. Playwrights and poets congregated at the home for lively readings, and nautical-themed original Vernon B. Coleman murals decorate the basement walls.
